Types of motivation

There are three types of motivation: financial, neurotic and metaphysical. Financial when you do things to improve your material life like buying a house, car, etc. Neurotic one is when you try to prove something to someone. Metaphysical is when you follow your spirit or flow, etc. Which type of motivation drives you? Which one is more stable or predictable?

It depends on where you are in the stage of your life.

Neurotic one is very strong motivation, but it never brings satisfaction.

Financial motivation is probably most predictable and this is something employers look for in employee.

Metaphysical is too unreliable for structured organizations. But the best is to have a combination of financial and metaphysical. However, it can be very difficult to manage and balance metaphysical and financial motivations.
